Sporting Rugby dad Colin Taylor has raised hundreds of pounds for charity by saying goodbye to his hair.
He lost his mother and sister to cancer and wanted to do something to help Macmillan Cancer Support.
The cut took place at Michael Bailie’s barbers in Lawrence Sheriff Street last Friday.
Colin, of Spring Street, said: “Michael made a joke about not knowing where to start, so he said he would start from my bald spot and work outwards.
“A couple of customers gave me a donation while I was having it done and my total so far is about £400.”
He would like to thank the owner of the barbers who did the cut for free.
Colin added: “He also donated me some money which was very nice of him.”
He had full backing from his wife Ildiko and children Ashton, 20, and Erika, 10.
