JAIDE’S Stage Studios Performing Arts School hosted its 10th annual competitive festival.
The dancers competed against 10 other performing arts schools at the festival at Lutterworth College Theatre.
The Rugby dance school gained a total of 23 first places, 11 second places and seven third places, together with 19 trophy awards.
Jaide Ellery-Martin, principal director, said: “This was our tenth competitive festival and a brilliant success, which showcased the high level of performance abilities, evidenced with the awards the students won.
“We faced some very tough competition with all the sections being much bigger than ever before.
“But their hard work paid off and all my students excelled themselves, even those who performed solos for the very first time.
“I am a very proud teacher and they are a credit to my school.”
