He is hoping to raise £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support by having his hair cut off at the Fighting Cocks pub in Rugby on September 17.

Dean said: “Ten years ago I lost my uncle, who was a great member of the family as well as bringing joy to any occasion even at the end.

“I’m nervously excited, but to be honest I can’t wait to get it all cut off - it’s getting a bit out of hand!”

He said he wants to raise as much as he can from the shave, being held at the pub where he works in Cymbeline Way, 8pm.

“I’d be happy just knowing I’d helped someone,” said Dean.

part of the 10 year anniversary of Phil Mushing’s death to cancer, my son, Phil’s nephew, will be having his head shaved in the pub he works at.

Dean is still appealing for sponsors. Donate by visiting https://bravetheshave.org.uk/shavers/dean-wilson-2/ or turning up on the night.
