A determined runner is taking on a half marathon to help fund the ‘incredible work’ at Myton Hospice.
Rebecca Rusk will be completing the Cardiff Half Marathon on October 4.
The 24-year-old hopes to raise £565 - enough to fund one in-patient bed for a day.
She said: “Myton is a fantastic local charity which makes a big difference within the community.
“They provide free care and support for anyone referred to them by their GP, specialist, regional nurse or Macmillan nurse. They need to raise £8 million every year to continue the work they do.
“The Cardiff Half Marathon appealed to me because I knew it would be tough and it felt appropriate to choose something that would be difficult.”
