Developers have been granted planning permission to build 175 homes in Leicester Road, Rugby.
St Modwen plan to install the final phase of its 70 acre regeneration scheme on the site of the former Alstom industrial complex.
The scheme will include two, three and four bed family homes and will bring the total number of residential properties developed by St Modwen in Leicester Road to 550.
The A426 Leicester Road regeneration scheme also incorporates the fully-let 110,000 sq ft Technology Retail Park which, when it is completed in September 2015, will accommodate Homebase, Wickes, Pets at Home and Bensons For Beds.
Peter Rudd, senior development surveyor at St Modwen, said: “This will be our final phase of housing at the Leicester Road site, and it will really round off the work we’ve done here.
“The development will bring much-needed family homes to Rugby and complete what has become a vibrant mixed-use community.”
