Donate items to Rugby Food Bank at St Botolph’s Church in Newbold this weekend

Donations are being collected for Rugby Food Bank at a Newbold church.

People are invited to the harvest service at St Botolph’s Church on Sunday, September 20, start at 10.45am.

The following items can be taken to the church, ensuring all food is undamaged and in date.

They are milk (UHT or powdered), surgar, long life fruit juice, pasta sauce, tinned sponge pudding, tinned vegetables, tinned rice pudding, instant coffee, hot chocolate, instantmash potato, rice, tinned meat or fish, tinned fruit, jam, biscuits, toiletries and toilet rolls.

Jonathan Broom, on behalf of The Parochial Church Council, said: “Everyone is welcome to the church to celebrate the harvest, natural world and farming communities.

“During the service items will be collected for Rugby Food Bank which is a hugely important charity, supporting people in crisis.”
