Dorothy Perkins is set to open a new shop in the town centre less than three years after the retailer closed its doors in Rugby following several decades of trading.
The new shop, located above Burtons Menswear in Market Place, reopens on Thursday this week (November 7).
The new store, occupying 1600 square foot and employing four people, has been refurbished and will showcase the latest women’s high street fashion.
The shop offers sizes 6 to 22, and a wide range of women’s clothing including dresses, tops, shoes, coats, lingerie, handbags, accessories, petite clothing and more.
To celebrate Thursday’s launch the store will be open until 7pm and customers shopping between 3pm and 7pm will be entitled to 20 percent off all their purchases.
Regular opening hours will be Monday to Saturday from 9.00am to 5.30pm.
Beverley Jones, manager of the new store said: “Dorothy Perkins is now one of the biggest fashion retailers in the country, with nearly 600 UK stores and over 50 international outlets.
“It offers affordable feminine fashion and it’s great to see it back in Rugby town centre. Dorothy Perkins has always had a good reputation and strong customer following and its superb central location within the town will ensure it is very accessible to customers.”
Aftab Gaffar, Rugby First Managing Director said: “It’s fantastic news for the town centre. Not only will it provide customers with more choice but it will also complement the excellent existing independent boutiques and high street clothing stores offer we already have here in Rugby. There is no doubt footfall will also increase as old customers who used to shop in Dorothy Perkins return to the town centre so good news all around.”
