DO YOU fancy a nice, leisurely stroll around Draycote Water?

Rugby Rokeby Lions’ annual fundraising walk around the reservoir takes place later this month on September 23 and will be raising money for the county’s air ambulance. The walk, which is five miles long, begins at 10am and every penny will go to the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.

Terry Byrne, of Rugby Rokeby Lions, said: “We’re seeking walkers of all ages to take part in our fundraising walk to help support the tremendous life-saving work the air ambulance. Every penny raised goes towards the £1400 that it costs for each flight to take place, as the service receives no government funding and relies solely on public donations.”

Anyone interested can call (01788) 815050 or email info@rugbyrokebylions.co.uk for a sponsorship form.
