Driver rescued following accident on south Warwickshire road

A driver had to be cut out of their car after careering off a road near Southam.

Two fire crews came to rescue the driver, whose car had gone into a ditch off the B4100 near Avon Dassett just before 1.30pm today (Friday).

The crews from Southam and Stratford took around 30 minutes to free the driver, who was then treated by paramedics.
