DRUGS: men arrested in Rugby, Wolston and Princethorpe after police discover cocaine, amphetamine and cannabis

POLICE arrested four people on Thursday (June 21) after finding drugs at a number of homes in the Rugby area.

Cannabis plants, hydroponics equipment, money and a quantity of drugs believed to be amphetamine and cocaine, were recovered from the addresses in Railway Street, and William Street in Rugby, Stretton Lane and Warwick Road, Wolston, and an industrial unit in Princethorpe.

The four males who were arrested, three of them aged 42 years, and one aged 47 years, were all questioned in connection with the supply of drugs and have now all been released on police bail, pending forensic reports and further police enquiries.

The properties were searched during the day by officers from the Serious Organised Crime team assisted by members of the Acquisitive Crime Team and Operational Support Team.

The arrests are part of a long-running operation focusing on organised crime and the supply of drugs.
