Police, ambulance and fire crews were called to a car accident near Frankton this afternoon (Monday).
The incident reportedly involved one car, which left the road and ended up in a ditch on the Straight Mile.
Warwickshire Fire and Rescue service attended the scene because one person was trapped as a result of the injuries they had sustained.
A spokesperson for the service said: “Fire fighters used specialist cutting equipment to provide access to the casualty. The crews spent 90 minutes dealing with the incident.”
A West Midlands Ambulance spokesperson added: “We were called at 2.33pm to the B4453 Straight Mile by Warwickshire Police.
“It looks like there were two patients involved, one of whom had back pain. The other patient had no obvious injuries.
“One ambulance attended and one person was taken to University Hospital Coventry this afternoon.”
