Remembering the 'big freeze' in Leamington, Warwick and Kenilworth - ten years ago
It was a decade ago when temperatures dipped very low, creating a very cold winter.

Hide AdShe said: "A decade ago, the Big Freeze in December 2010 was an event I will never forget.
"After several days of temperatures at minus seven degrees or more, South Cubbington Wood and the iconic Wild Pear tree were transformed in a stunning frosty white landscape.
"It was awe-inspiring and took my breath away.
"Today’s climate changes and the destruction of all these mature trees for HS2 means we will never again see this scene.
"I was overwhelmed by the sheer beauty of that wonderful frozen world."
