UNPAID carers are to be recognised during Carers Week from June 13 to 19.
Warwickshire County Council, Guideposts Carers Support Service and Rethink Carers Information and Support Service will back this year’s Carers Week campaign The True Face of Carers with a host of activities and support across the county.
The Carers Week campaign highlights the vital contribution made by this diverse range of people who give up their time, money and health to look after somebody else.
Activities taking place in Rugby include a Guideposts information stand offering friendly and informal advice at the Clock Towers shopping centre from 10am to 3pm on Monday June 13.
There will also be coffee, cake and conversation at Guideposts’ office, 44 Regent Street, Rugby from 11am to 2pm on Friday June 17 when Mark Pawsey MP will also be in attendance.
Information will be on display at Rugby library during the week.
