Facebook group is supporting hospital

MEMBERS of a social networking group which helps parents to buy and sell unwanted children’s clothes and items for bargain prices are raising money for a good cause.

Lindsay Prior set up Baby Bits For Sale on Facebook four months ago and it now has 1,500 members all of whom live in or around Leamington Warwick and Kenilworth.

The group, which allows users to sell items without listings fees or postage costs, is so popular that Mrs Prior has had to recruit five ‘admin’ members to help.

Members have organised a table top sale at Dale Street Methodist church in Leamington on Monday from noon to 2pm.

All profits will go to Warwick Hospital’s Special Care Baby Unit, the group’s chosen charity.
