Family pay tribute to daughter killed in Wellesbourne crash

The parents of a 33 year-old woman who died following a collision in Wellesbourne on the A429 have paid tribute to their “beautiful” daughter.

Amanda Emmott, from Shipston-on-Stour, was a passenger in a silver Volkswagen Golf involved in the crash on Saturday October 24, which saw the car cartwheel over after landing in a ditch.

Her family said: “Amanda was beautiful, loving and caring. She was opinionated and had a wicked sense of humour.

“Amanda could get along with anybody; no matter what walk of life they came from. I know all her friends will miss her dearly.

“Amanda was a tenacious character; she loved new challenges and faced them with confidence and excitement.

“Words cannot express how much we will miss our beautiful girl who brought sunshine into everybody’s lives.

“We are devastated by the tragic and untimely loss of such a wonderful young lady on the verge of starting a new chapter of her life.”

Anyone who witnessed the crash is urged to contact police on 101 quoting incident number 272 of Saturday October 24.
