Youngsters at Rokeby Primary School welcomed two special guests to their Christmas Fayre on Tuesday afternoon.
Father Christmas and Mayor of Rugby, Cllr Richard Dodd, called in to get the festive season off to a flying start.
The fayre was organised by the school’s Parent Teacher Association (RPTA) as a fund-raising event.
Headteacher Alison Stringer and chair of the RPTA Olga Birina accompanied the Mayor as he went around the stalls and attractions.
Children and their parents were able to meet Father Christmas in his grotto.
Father Christmas said: “It was lovely to meet the children of Rokeby Primary School again this year. They are always so well behaved and I enjoy seeing their faces light up when they walk into my grotto. They promised to leave mince pies for Father Christmas to eat and milk him to drink on Christmas Eve.”
