Festive events in the Rugby area
The big Christmas countdown is on!
Here are just some of the events taking place in the Rugby area...
Dunchurch Brass band
Give your ears a treat and go along to The Dunchurch Brass Band Christmas concert at St Peter’s Church, 7pm on Saturday, December 8.
Admission is by payment on the door (£6 and £4).
St Peter’s Church provides a beautiful venue for the ladies of Dunchurch Voices to showcase their talents and they invite you to join them for their Christmas concert at 7.30pm on Friday, December 14. The choir will be singing a variety of songs interspersed with one or two surprise items.
Tickets will shortly be on sale in Wandas of Dunchurch priced at £5. Refreshments will be available. This year, the ladies have chosen to support the Rugby Dementia Support Group and hope to raise significant funds to pass on so please do come along.
Beats Bars and Banter
Beats Bars and Banter Youth Music Showcase in Rugby, hosted by Aspire in Arts Ltd, takes place on Sunday, December 23, Benn Hall, Newbold Road, Rugby, from 6.30pm.
Father Christmas is hosting a Community Christmas Party at Rugby Indian Association, Edward Street, Rugby, UK on December 7.
Party food will be provided for the children.
Father Christmas’ party will start at 5pm until 7pm
After 7pm - Rugby Labour will switch to a more mature theme with bar. ‘Bring a plate’ of food to share for the adult party.
A small entry fee of £1 per head will allow us to help Father Christmas give presents to the children.
