Festive offering from Rugby Philharmonic Choir at Temple Speech Room is a musical treat

Music lovers are in for a treat with the latest festive offering from Rugby Philharmonic Choir.

Prelude to Christmas takes place at Temple Speech Room, Rugby, on December 12, and features Handel: The Messiah (Part 1) with seasonal music.

There will be performances by Barbara Rodway, Chloe Pardoe, Chris Griksaitis and John Fletcher.

The organist is James Williams and conductor for the evening is Mervyn Bethell.

It starts at 7.30pm and tickets are available from the choir secretary Doreen Long, who can be contacted on (01788) 812802, or on the door, priced £15 and £12.50 for concessions. Under 16s get in free.
