Some of Rugby’s brightest musical talents left St Andrew’s church resounding with song at a special festive show.
Local music label Big Help Management hosted its annual Christmas Concert earlier this month.
The showcase included sets from The Strawhouse Singers, The Big Help Academy, Open Mic UK and Britain’s Got Talent.
Harry Evans of Britain’s Got Talent finalists Only Boys Allowed was among those supporting the event. Harry, who has been offering his expertise off stage to the choir, also performed with them for a rendition of Believe.
Rugby’s ‘songbird’ Hollie Aires also performed at the concert, offering a version of O Holy Night.
Deputy Mayor Cllr Richard Dodd showed his support for the event.
He told the audience: “Anybody who missed this to stay in and watch The X Factor has just missed some real talent”.
Connor Lang of Big Help said: “The venue was packed with supporters of local music, which gave the concert the atmosphere expected at such an event, providing a great experience not only to those in the audience, but the artists as well.”
