Firefighters act quickly to tackle blaze
FIREFIGHTERS from Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to a small fire at the Station Works in Fenny Compton yesterday.
On arrival the crew, from the village’s fire station, found a large quantity of plastic goods well alight on open ground.
The fire was creating a large plume of smoke so the firefighters acted quickly to extinguish the flames using foam and water.
