The community woodland is inviting school groups and groups such as Scouts, Guides and youth clubs to book free sessions with education advisor Rachel Adshead, whose post is in place until October thanks to funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund.

There are six different curriculum and craft based sessions for children at Key Stages 1, 2 and 3. Once the free sessions have been booked, groups can book sessions for a fee that covers staff time. To find out more, email [email protected] or visit www.foundrywood.co.uk
