Frightful fun in Rugby town centre

Scary sights and ghoulish grins are promised in Rugby town centre on Saturday.

Rugby First will be holding a ‘Happy Halloween’ event on High Street between 12 noon and 3pm. There will be plenty of free ‘treats’ on offer including a bouncy wizard castle, gruesome face painting, ghoulish cake decorating, a Punch and Judy ghost show, a circus workshop, giant games and lots more. Little monsters meanwhile can get togged up for the fancy dress competition, which will be judged at 1.30pm.

Rugby First managing director Aftab Gaffar said: “This is the last of the family fun days for this year and I am delighted with how attendances have continued to build and grow.

“The free events have allowed parents and grandparents to combine shopping with a fun family day out and have certainly made a difference. They have also added colour and vibrancy to the town centre and we look forward to their return next year.”

If it is raining on the day please check the town centre website before visiting to ensure the event has not been cancelled.
