The Papillon Café Bar will be the latest new business to open in Rugby town centre when it officially throws open its doors on Saturday.
Located in Churchside Arcade in Little Church Street, the new business will operate as a café during the day and on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings transform into a sparkling champagne and cocktail bar.
The new business, situated in the unit previously occupied by Choco Loco, will employ six people and cater for customers of all ages. Throughout the day it will serve food and drink, including a children’s menu. Croissants, bacon butties, homemade soups, jacket potatoes, toasties, Illy coffees, Dropissimo hot chocolate, milkshakes, and boiled egg and soldiers are just a few of the treats on the menu.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings will see the café transform into a champagne and cocktail bar, serving an array of colourful cocktails, champagne by the glass and a range of bottled beers and ciders.
Julia Hart, the director of Papillon Café Bar, said: “I’m really excited to be opening the business and look forward to welcoming our first customers.
“I’m confident they will be delighted with the food and drink in terms of quality, price and choice as well as the customer service on offer, whether visiting during the daytime or evening.
“We have a great location in the heart of the town centre in a truly unique building and I would encourage anyone who is passionate about food and drink to come and visit us.”
Aftab Gaffar, Rugby First managing director, said: “The Papillon Café Bar I’m sure will complement the excellent existing food and drink offer we have in Rugby and I wish them lots of success.”
