Fun day at Barley Mow pub in memory of popular teenager Joe Spooner

A CHARITY fun day is being held in Newbold on Saturday.

The event starts at 1.30pm at the Barley Mow pub in Main Street.

Funds will go to the Joe Spooner Memorial Account for SADS UK.

He died when he was 15 after playing a game of cricket.

The day includes bouncy castle, sumo suits, pig roast, children’s entertainer, face painting and raffle with cash prize.

There will be live music from an array of local artists and a disco.
