Funding boost for south Warwickshire gallery’s Chinese art

South Warwickshire art gallery Compton Verney has been chosen as one of 18 museums and galleries in England to recieve a share of £700,000 funding from Arts Council England’s Destination Development Fund.

The gallery near Kineton has been given £89,631, which will be spent on re-displaying its Chinese collection in a way that is more accessible and engaging for visitors. Compton Verney’s director Dr Steven Parissien said: “This generous gift will ensure that we can continue to share our passion for art with as many people as possible.”
