Fusilisers talk of pride after receiving freedom of Warwick district
Soldiers at yesterday’s homecoming parade in Leamington for the 1st Battalion of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers spoke to reporter Oliver Williams about their pride at receiving the honour of the Freedom of Warwick District.
A large crowd came out to cheer the fusiliers as they marched from the top of the parade to Leamington Town Hall before the Fusiliers attended a civic ceremony where the freedom was awarded by Warwick District Council Chairman Cllr Richard Davies.
