A VIDEO game retailer has closed its Rugby store after going into administration.
Game in the Clock Towers Shopping Centre is one of 277 branches to close across the country after the company went into administration on Monday. On Tuesday staff were seen clearing the store, which has a sign in the window saying ‘Goodbye Rugby’.
Administrators PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) said 2,074 employees would be made redundant this week. It is not clear how many people worked at the Rugby store.
