The festival, which is free, will see the return of many exhibitors and some new faces to add to the around 100 stalls which will showcase the best in food and drink in the area.

Regular features such as the Love Food Cookery Theatre and Kids Make and Bake Cookery School will be rubbing shoulders with new attractions such as the Barbecue Masterclass Area where there will be cook-offs and demonstrations.

There will also be Cookery Master Classes for anyone who seriously wants to brush up on their culinary skills with workshops and advice from specialists.

Stephanie Kerr, of BID Leamington, organises the festival with the support of businesses in the area.

She said: “We’ve already had a great response from businesses who have re-booked this year after a very successful event last September so we will be welcoming old friends back such as award-winning butchers Aubrey Allen, The Cakery and the Stag and the Moorings.

“There will also be new experiences such as the Tha Kitchen, The Wild Oven, Cupari Wines and Shocka’s Coconut Hub.

“It really is a complete celebration of local and international food and drink and a wonderful opportunity for people to come together to sample the very best food, drink and entertainment that the area has to offer.

“Also back by popular demand is the Taste Trail which gives people the opportunity to sample the delights of one of many diverse restaurants in the town for just £1.

“Diners rate their experience on a feedback form to stand a chance of winning a meal for two.”
