Children at Henry Hinde Junior School came up with a fun way to raise funds for charity.
They donned crazy and colourful wigs and helped raise nearly £200 for Muscular Dystrophy.
Teachers said everyone enjoyed taking part in ‘Wacky Wig Wednesday’.
Pupil Tommy Lloyd suffers from the condition and has so far helped thousands of pounds for Muscular Dystrophy with his mother Hayley.
They have undertaken a wide variety of fundraising activities including skydives, and Tommy even bathed for over four hours in a bath of baked beans.
An event will be held every half term at the school with the aim to raise £1,000.
