Remember, remember the 5th of November – and with it being a Saturday that’s when Rugby Round Table will host the town’s annual Firework Spectacular.
The display has raised thousands of pounds each year to provide vital help and support to local charities and good causes.
This year’s event will have more firepower and a few surprises thrown in too, but thanks to the sponsors, ticket prices are at the same rate as last year.
The evening will be themed as ‘Remember Remember’ and along with Guy Fawkes it will also recall the 100th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme; 90 years since Rugby Radio Station sent the country’s first transatlantic voice transmission to Houlton in America; Rugby Round Table’s 80th birthday – and 65 years of Rugby Round Table Firework Displays
Gates open at Whinfield Rec, Clifton Road, at 4pm, with Rugby FM DJ Jason Moss on stage, followed by live music from The Record Covers and The Rattletones.
Then at approximately 6.15pm will be the fireworks finale.
