Warwickshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a road traffic collision left two pedestrians with serious injuries.
The incident occurred near to the junction of Castle Lane, Woolscott at around 9pm on Monday.
It is believed the vehicle responsible did not stop at the scene and local residents found both pedestrians with their injuries.
Both pedestrians were taken to University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire where they are currently being treated for head, leg and back injuries.
A 31 year-old man has been arrested by police and has been released on bail pending enquiries.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or the circumstances leading up to it, is asked to call Warwickshire police on 101, quoting incident 375 of Monday January 26.
