A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital after falling from her horse near Rugby.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to an equestrian event being held at the Onley Grounds Equestrian Centre off the A45 shortly after 1.45pm on Saturday.
An ambulance crew attended which then requested the attendance of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “The rider, a woman in her thirties had fallen from her horse which also kicked her. She had a suspected broken collar bone and back pain.
“She was given pain relief and was fully immobilised before being flown to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire for further assessment and treatment.”
