Five years ago Horts Estate Agents took the bold step of changing the way it worked and decided to adopt the business model that is used throughout most of Europe, the US, Canada, Australia and South Africa.

It wanted to attract the best and most experienced property professionals to help steer it through this ever -hanging market.

To celebrate how successful this change of direction has been the company has commissioned six local Stagecoach buses. Each one has an actual Horts property consultant on the back off it proudly holding one of their ‘sold’ boards. A company spokesman said; “Horts property consultants are ‘self-employed’ and reap what they sow. As driven individuals, who don’t ‘clock on’ in the morning and ‘off’ in the evening, they offer a personal and professional service to their clients from the moment they meet them to the moment they move them.

“They believe that when selling a property a vendor should have one point of contact. They should be able to get hold of the person dealing with their home at all times including evenings and weekends.

“All Horts property consultants freely give out their mobile numbers and direct email addresses because they want to hear from clients at all times.

“As all property consultants are ‘self-employed’ and have no basic salary to rely upon they will only earn if the property they are marketing sells.”
