Sarah Horne drew her inspiration from a weaver-bird’s nest to create the water droplet-shaped design, intended to reflect the melting ice.

She said: “I love the concept of the Ice Hotel - like the flowers it is so fragile and ephemeral. It is somewhere I have always dreamed of visiting.”

Miss Horne, who has a shop in Warwick Street, has won two gold medals at Chelsea in the past and is hoping to make it three this year - or go one better.

She said: “I would really love to get the hat trick and I have never managed to get best in show.

“I’m ready for the challenge. I’m really looking forward to it.”
