Japan fundraiser seeks support in Leamington

A BRITISH entrepreneur who has given up work to help victims of the tsunami in Japan is visiting schools and organisations in and around Leamington this week.

Caroline Pover has been living in Tokyo for the past 15 years and set up several businesses, but as soon as the disaster occurred in March, she got on a plane to the UK so she could collect much-needed items and money to take back to Japan to help communities rebuild their lives.

People can listen to Ms Pover, who has committed to dedicating six months to providing aid, talk about her experiences and find out how they can help, as she tours the area this week.
