Join in a jitterbug and tuck into cream teas for hospice

MYTON Hospice is inviting people to slip on their dancing shoes and step back in time for a 1940s-themed fundraising event.

The charity’s Tea Dance, at which guests are encouraged to dress up in the style of that decade, will be held at Guy Nelson Hall in Warwick on Sunday April 29.

Hosted by compere Francis Gallagher, the event, which will run from 2pm to 5pm, will include cream teas.

Myton’s events manager Charlotte Ingram said: “The Tea Dance is a new event for this year and we hope that people of all ages will join us to help raise money for a fantastic cause. We are celebrating our 30th anniversary and we need your support more than ever. We have to raise £7.2 million this year to keep our services running and can’t do it without the support of the community.”

Tickets cost £10. Call 838831.
