Jump for Pudsey!
Students at Boughton Leigh Junior School in Brownsover were bear-ly awake for their latest fundraiser.
For a silver donation, they came to school in their pyjamas and onesies to raise money for Children in Need.
In the afternoon the whole school ‘Jumped for Pudsey’ and enthusiastically bounced around to songs with incorporated ‘jump’ lyrics.
As a school, staff and pupils jumped a total of 145,000 times.
The event was organised by the school council team and raised £326.19.
Meanwhile, creative youngsters at Boughton Leigh Infant School gave Children in Need mascot Pudsey bear a make-over by colouring, painting and decorating his picture as part of the school’s non-uniform day in aid of the charity.
And across Rugby, children and adults dressed up and took part in a number of stunts to raise money for Children in Need.
The charity supports disadvantaged and vulnerable young people in the UK and around the world.
This year’s televised appeal raised an amazing £46,624,259.
