Gill discovered kickboxing at the age of 14 and has an impressive array of British, European and World titles.

In 2008, Gill opened his own kickboxing gym in Edgbaston and is now venturing further afield to bring his coaching experience to a wider audience. Gill, who has been coaching for more than 25 years, will be teaching at the Urban Sports Fitness Centre, on Heathcote Industrial Estate every Wednesday, starting later this month.

Beginners’ classes are held between 5pm and 6pm for five to ten-year-olds and from 6pm to 7pm for 11-year-olds up to adults.

The session for more experienced martial artists of all ages runs between 7pm and 8pm.

Participants do not need to worry about buying any equipment or kit, with tracksuit bottoms and a T-shirt sufficing.
