Lambs...in December!

FARMER Stan Tompkins could hardly believe it.

In the middle of December he found himself delivering twin Charollais lambs - the first he can ever remember arriving so early.

The Lighthorne farmer’s grand-daughter Megan is already keeping an eye on the unexpected arrivals, who settled in straight away at Curacy farm.

The babies aren’t moving too far away from their mother at the moment but it won’t be long before their frolicking around - hopefully not in the snow.
