Last orders at Rugby's Ska Bar
A couple who breathed life back into the London House pub in Rugby town centre have decided to call last orders.
Shaun and Karen Banks took over the Chapel Street venue two years ago and top acts were soon flocking to play at Rugby Ska Bar.
But they are moving to a pub in Leicester along with their daughter Shelby because they say mid-week trade is dwindling.
“Rugby’s a great town, but nightlife is dwindling and we have to look to the future,” said Shaun.
“We’re having a final gig on March 25 with rock band Dark Horses promising to take the roof off.”
