Lauren donates hair to help children with cancer
A Year 8 student from Avon Valley School and Performing Arts College in Rugby is aiming to raise £1,000 for Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance before having seven inches of her hair chopped off.
Lauren Osborn’s cut takes place on February 24 at Experience Hair Design in Rugby. Her long hair will go the Little Princess Trust, which provides real hair wigs to children who have lost their hair due to cancer or other illnesses.
Lauren, whose mum is a hairdresser, said: “I wanted to give my hair to charity and thought I could help the air ambulance at the same time.”
