AFTER a week of traffic chaos in Rugby town centre, Lawrence Sheriff Street has now reopened.
The road closed last week after a sewer collapsed.
Severn Trent workers have been on site all week fixing the sewer.
Traffic was diverted through the town centre via Church Street and North Street and then back onto the gyratory system, causing significant problems across town.
The road reopened yesterday (Sunday). Severn Trent contractors have now moved into Sheep Street where it is believed part of the sewer has collapsed.
Businesses are open as usual in the area.
