Leamington duo charged with theft from a car

Police officers arrested two males aged 29 and 47 years old on suspicion of theft after a member of the public called them to report a car had been broken into in Heath Terrace, Leamington at 7pm on Sunday.

The duo were arrested in High Street and then detained and questioned overnight.

Today 29-year-old Clifford Desmond from Southway, Leamington was charged with theft from a motor vehicle, while Kevin Raymond Frankum, 47, was also charged with theft from a motor vehicle and going equipped for theft.

Both men have been released on conditional bail to appear in court at a later date. Their conditions include a curfew between the hours of 7pm and 7am.
