Leamington fatal collision: victims named

Three young people who died following a collision in Leamington in the early hours of Saturday morning have been named by police.

They are Nathan Rhodes, aged 23, from Southam, Ryan Case, aged 25 from Stockton and Emily Jennings, aged 27 from Warwick.

They were travelling ina blue Citroen Saxo when it collided with a tree then a wall at around 2.45am.

It happened on the A425 Radford Road near to Willes Road when travelling towards the Fosse Way.

A 20-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.

He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.

A 21-year-old man travelling in the car received serious injuries and was taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire, his condition has been reported as stable.
