Lillington woman death: second post mortem results due

POLICE are awaiting the results of a second post mortem to establish the cause of death of a Lillington woman.

Luisa Mendes, 44, was found dead at an address in Briar Close on Thursday October 25.

Her death is still being treated as unexplained and the results of further tests are awaited.

Two men, aged 62 and 49, who were arrested at the address in Briar Close on suspicion of assault, remain on police bail.

The Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) is continuing to independently investigate the contact between Warwickshire Police and the woman in the days before her death.
