The Rugby Charities Shop float in Rugby Carnival, possibly in the early 1980s

Today’s pictures have been given to us by Sylvia Langley, who many of you might know as she ran the Rugby Charities Shop for many years in the 1970s and 80s and was still helping to raise thousands for charity long after that. The pictures are of their float in Rugby Carnival, most probably in the early 1980s, with the shop volunteers dressed as characters from Alice in Wonderland.
