LOOKING BACK - November 3 edition

Richard Rogers from Leicestershire has asked if Memory Lane readers might be able to help with this one - and I’ve said we’ll do our best!

This is a photograph of the original Rugby Town Football Club, possibly in the 1930s.

Mr Rogers understands his grandfather, George Hubert Woods, was one of the founder members of the club around 1904. (He’s circled in the picture). He has tried to find information about him, but without success.

Mr Rogers wonders if anyone identify the photograph, where it might have been taken and who the other people were. He would also be very grateful if there is any information about the origins of Rugby Town FC.
