St Oswald's School in the early 1950s

Thank you to Sylvia Stewart (nee Warren) for sharing this week’s picture with us.

It was taken at St Oswald’s School in Lawford Road in the early 1950s. You can see the Co-op in the background which is still there. Sylvia cannot remember the occasion, but you’ll notice some of the children are dressed in various interesting costumes.

The names she can remember are: (Back row, from left): ? , Michael Cope ,?, ?, ?, ?, ?, Gordon Smith , teachers- Mrs Mickleborough , Miss Biggs.

(Middle row): Margaret Pryor, Sylvia Warren, ? ,?, Pat Lloydall, Pat Fuller ,Valerie Cowley, Janice Gunton , ? Linley ,?. (Front row): ? , Wendy Jones, Kathleen Eyre, Ann Leaman, ? , Christine Ash.

Can anyone help to fill in the gaps?
