A Red Bull Racing F1 factory tour and luxury weekends away are among the prizes on offer in a silent charity auction being run by the Holiday Inn Rugby-Northampton.
Although the hotel has sold out of tickets to its Winter Wonderland charity ball in aid of the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance, taking place on Saturday, there is still time left for anyone to bid in the auction, which will be drawn at the event.
The full list of prizes is as follows: a Red Bull Racing F1 factory tour; joint leisure club membership for 12 months at the Holiday Inn Rugby-Northampton; dinner, bed and breakfast and a bottle of champagne at the Danesfield House Hotel in Marlow-on-Thames; bed and breakfast in a Superior room at The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield; bed and breakfast at the Hilton Bath City in Bath; a round of four ball golf at The Belfry in Sutton Coldfield; a round of four ball golf at the Hellidon Lakes Hotel in Hellidon with tea, coffee and bacon rolls; a three-course meal for two with a bottle of wine at the Marco Pierre White Steak House in Hinckley Island; a family box ticket at the Cinderella pantomime at Northampton Derngate; a table for six with dinner at the Take That tribute night at the Holiday Inn Rugby-Northampton on December 11; and a signed Northampton Football Club shirt.
Julie-Anne Passey, conference and events co-ordinator at the Holiday Inn Rugby-Northampton, said: “The charity ball has sold out, so we thought an auction would be a great idea to raise as much money as we can for the air ambulance and we have been overwhelmed by the prizes that we have had donated.
“There are some great items so hopefully the public will bid high.”
Anyone wishing to bid for any of the items listed above should email their name, phone number, the item and the amount they are bidding to firstname.lastname@example.org by 12pm on Friday (Nov 27).
