Rugby GPs are working hard to get patients undergoing treatment for macular degenerative disease transferred to specialists at St Cross.

Dr Jeff Cotteril told those at a Rugby Town East Community Forum that there was a possibility that patients, who currently have to travel to Warwick, could be transferred in a few months.

Other issues brought up by residents at the meeting included speeding down Hillmorton High Street, parking issues at Paddox primary and shed burglaries and car crime.

The next meeting is due to be held on Saturday June 29.
